World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

Branching off from the main passage of the Hidden Tunnel, this area descends into a complex and disorienting network of interconnected passages. The tunnels are rough-hewn rock, shored up by rotting wooden beams, twisting and turning in a bewildering fashion. Many passages lead to dead ends, while others narrow to tight squeezes or open into small, featureless chambers. The air becomes stale and oppressive the deeper one ventures into the maze.

Appearance

The maze is a realm of absolute darkness, where a light source casts dancing shadows on damp, uneven rock walls. Every turn looks deceptively similar, and the lack of landmarks makes navigation difficult. The air is cold and heavy with the scent of wet stone and ancient dust, accompanied by the echo of movements and the constant drip of unseen water.
