Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

TDH - Hidden Basement Diorama Hall
Point of Interest
Details
Coordinates | (-97, 247) |
Description
A secret subterranean chamber accessed via a hidden trapdoor beneath a bear-skin rug, serving as a private gallery for a taxidermist's anthropomorphic dioramas. The room is windowless, musty, and dimly lit by lanterns, with cold, damp earth floors and rough stone and earth walls.
Appearance
The basement features several large stage-like displays with meticulously crafted dioramas: squirrels playing poker, rabbits at a tea party, and a full-sized wolf in a top hat standing over a fox in a dress. The air is still, smelling of damp earth and dust, with shadows dancing from the lantern light.
