World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

A large, open-sided wooden shed housing a steam-powered sawmill, designed to endure the vibrations of heavy machinery. The area is filled with the sounds of roaring saws and billowing steam, while the ground is thick with sawdust.

Appearance

This is the noisiest and most dangerous part of the camp, with steam billowing from its engine and the constant high-pitched whine of the massive circular saw. The air is thick with the scent of fresh-cut wood and the ground is covered in a layer of sawdust.
