Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description
A cramped, dusty steeple housing a large bronze bell, used to call the town of Blackwater to service or mark solemn occasions. Accessed by a steep wooden ladder, it is rarely entered except by the groundskeeper or reverend.
Appearance
The interior is unfinished with exposed wooden beams and small gaps letting in daylight. The floor is rough wooden planks covered in dust and pigeon feathers. A massive bronze bell hangs from a heavy beam with a frayed rope descending through the floor. Pigeons roost in the rafters, and the wind whistles through louvered openings, offering a panoramic view of Blackwater.
