Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description
A wide, elevated platform made of smooth, dark wooden planks, built to withstand the traffic of dozens of productions. The front of the stage is lined with a row of footlights, illuminating the performers. Above, a complex fly system of ropes and sandbags allows for the seamless raising and lowering of painted canvas backdrops, while the wings are cluttered with props and stagehands waiting for their cues.
Appearance
From an actor's perspective, the stage is an island of intense, hot light in a vast sea of darkness. From the audience's perspective, it is a magical portal where stories are brought to life through light, sound, and performance.
