World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

A functional, unadorned room directly behind the teller line where the bank's daily operations are carried out. The space is filled with simple wooden desks, each equipped with a mechanical adding machine or a typewriter. Tall, metal filing cabinets line one wall, and stacks of paperwork, forms, and ledgers are neatly organized on every available surface. This is the engine room of the bank, where accounts are balanced and transactions are recorded.

Appearance

The room is filled with the industrious sounds of clacking typewriter keys, the whirring of adding machines, and the rustle of paper. It smells strongly of ink, machine oil, and brewed coffee. It is a space built for pure function, lacking any of the lobby's grandeur.
