World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

These robust, elevated wooden platforms and gantries are built alongside the railway spur, positioned near large oil storage tanks. Heavy-duty pipelines run from the tanks to the loading bays, equipped with large valves and flexible hoses designed to fill railway tanker cars with crude or refined oil efficiently. The area is often slick with spilled oil, and the strong odor of oil is overpowering.

Appearance

The loading bays, heavily industrial, feature vintage elements of nostalgic charm. The dark, stained wood boasts intricate carvings and wear that tell stories of the past. Rusted metal fittings and aged leather straps add character. The area is alive with noise—pumping equipment creates rhythmic bursts, workers shout instructions and camaraderie, and the clanging of vintage metal from filling tanker cars resonates, creating a symphony of industriousness.
