World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

Braithwaite Hollow is a small, dilapidated village nestled at the edge of the Braithwaite estate. The few ramshackle houses, constructed from weathered wood and crumbling stone, house the poorest workers of the Braithwaite family, who toil in the fields yet live in squalor. The village is shrouded in an atmosphere of unease, with whispers of hidden family secrets and dark histories that contrast sharply with the opulence of the Braithwaite manor. The air is thick with tension, as the villagers harbor resentment towards their wealthy employers, revealing the stark class divide that permeates the estate.

Appearance

The village is marked by its rundown houses, overgrown weeds, and a pervasive sense of neglect. Shadows linger in the corners, and the distant sound of the manor's grandeur feels like a mocking reminder of the villagers' plight.
