World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

Larned Sod is a rustic ranch nestled in the Heartlands of New Hanover, characterized by its unique construction partly embedded in a hill. The house features a sod roof and a dirt floor, giving it a homely yet rugged charm. Nearby, a Warped Tree stands to the east, and a dreamcatcher can be spotted far to the southwest over the road. An abandoned wagon lies further southwest, containing a lockbox filled with canned vegetables and Guarma Rum. The ranch owner, often seen visiting a grave beside the Warped Tree, is accompanied by a loyal Border Collie.

Appearance

The ranch house is partially built into a hill, with a distinctive sod roof that blends into the landscape. The surrounding area is dotted with unique features like the Warped Tree and an abandoned wagon, creating a sense of rustic isolation.
