World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

A quiet, scholarly sanctuary filled with leather-bound books and dark mahogany shelves, primarily used for secret meetings rather than reading. The room has the aroma of old leather, paper, and woodsmoke. It can only be accessed through a single archway door from the Living Room.

Appearance

Polished hardwood floor mostly covered by a large dark green oriental rug. Two high-backed leather armchairs near a small elegant fireplace with a carved mantelpiece. Floor-to-ceiling mahogany bookshelves line three walls, filled with leather-bound books. A heavy globe stands in one corner, and a small writing desk sits beneath the only window.
