World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

A formal dining hall used for lavish meals and family gatherings, showcasing status with opulent decor and a grand atmosphere. The room is mostly silent except for the ticking of a grandfather clock, entered through a wide archway from the west and connected discreetly to the kitchen.

Appearance

Polished hardwood floor reflecting light from a large crystal chandelier. A long, dark polished wood dining table with a dozen high-backed chairs surrounds it. Walls feature wainscoting on the lower half and oil paintings of landscapes above. A smaller fireplace provides heat, and a wooden sideboard holds polished silver serving dishes.
