World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

Compson's Stead is an eerie, abandoned homestead nestled in the desolate Meadows of the Lemoyne territory. Once a thriving home, it now stands as a haunting reminder of its dark past, with a dilapidated house and a crumbling shed that whisper tales of the Compson family's legacy and their grim activities as slave catchers.

Appearance

The old house is weathered and overgrown, framed by a vibrant meadow of green grass and dotted with wildflowers that sway gently in the breeze. Shattered windows and peeling paint mar its exterior, while the shed leans precariously to one side, almost swallowed by the lush surroundings. The air is thick with the scent of decay, mingling with the earthy aroma of red dirt that forms a stark contrast against the verdant landscape. The ground is littered with remnants of a life long forgotten, partially concealed by the vibrant growth around it.
