World of Redemption

H

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

The foreman's command center where paperwork is done, coordination with the shipping clerk occurs, and disciplinary meetings are held. The atmosphere is tense and strictly business.

Appearance

Picture a functional, spartan office designed for work and surveillance. The floor is made of plain, sturdy wooden planks worn down by heavy work boots, with transparent watercolor gradients that bring them to life. A single solid desk chair and an uncomfortable-looking stool are the only seating, their outlines defined by dark ink washes. A small, efficient pot-belly stove emits soft, blended warm colors. The walls are bare, wood-paneled, and provide a neutral backdrop, while a large production board with intricate ink details on quotas and worker assignments hangs on the back wall. A large wooden desk dominates the foreground, holding a heavy ledger book, an inkwell, and various shipping dockets in layered watercolor washes. A locked metal filing cabinet and a secure rack holding a shotgun are also visible. A tin coffee pot on the stove suggests a warm atmosphere.
