Kagutsuchi has fiery red hair that cascades around his face in wild, untamed waves, symbolizing the fire god from which his name originates. His sharp, molten orange eyes glow like embers, contrasting against his pale skin, which is marked with intricate Oni tattoos running down his neck and arms. He wears a traditional black-and-gold Shugenja robe with red accents, adorned with protective talismans. His muscular frame exudes strength, and his serious expression is often intense, hinting at his inner conflict. His Oni heritage is apparent in his sharp canines and a single, prominent horn that juts out from the right side of his head.

Kagutsuchi embodies a true neutral alignment, balancing his fiery temper with an innate sense of fairness. He’s a man of action, preferring to deal with challenges head-on rather than with diplomacy or subtlety. Despite his intense nature, he holds deep affection for his current family and is unwavering in his honesty. Though his godly powers remain sealed deep within, his fiery spirit occasionally flares up, making him passionate and protective. Kagutsuchi is also introspective, grappling with the quiet mystery of his soul, unaware of the divine fire that slumbers within him.

Kagutsuchi is the reincarnation of the ancient fire deity born of the gods Izanagi and Izanami. His birth brought sorrow, as it caused his mother’s death, leading to his own violent end at the hands of his grieving father. Yet, Izanami, in a desperate act of maternal love, sacrificed her powers of creation to restore him to life, placing him in the human world of Yamato. Born as a Hanyou to a human father and Oni mother, Kagutsuchi grew up not remembering his past as a deity. He has fully embraced his new life, living with a fierce loyalty to his family and heritage.
