Description

Kitsune no Mori, or Forest of the Fox Spirits, is a sacred deciduous forest dominated by towering oaks and majestic beeches. This enchanting woodland is renowned as the dwelling place of the Kitsune, mystical fox spirits known for their cunning and wisdom. Here, ancient shrines and temples can be found nestled amongst the trees, each guarded by playful spirits and providing a serene atmosphere. The Kitsune live in tranquil peace with the kodama, who maintain the forest. It is also one of the few places in Yamato, where the Hanyou settled down in rare small settlements. The Kitsune are fairly tolerant of their existence and also enjoy teasing them in a playful way from time to time.

Appearance

A sprawling canopy of vibrant green leaves with rays of sunlight filtering through, revealing hidden shrines draped in moss and surrounded by winding paths, as ethereal fox spirits dart playfully among the trees under a cerulean sky.
