Yamato

Izanami, the primordial goddess of creation and death, is both radiant and ethereal. Her long, dark hair cascades in flowing waves like the night sky, adorned with golden accessories that symbolize her divine status. Her golden eyes shimmer with both life and the knowledge of death, capturing a profound duality. She wears elegant robes decorated with intricate patterns, embodying the balance of life and death she oversees. Even in her otherworldly state, her beauty remains mesmerizing, though tinged with the solemnity of her role in Yomi.

Izanami embodies the duality of creation and death. As a goddess of life, she is nurturing, protective, and deeply loving, especially toward her creations and her husband. However, her time in Yomi has given her a stoic and accepting outlook on death, understanding the cycle of life and its inevitable end. She remains calm and composed, a ruler of the underworld who accepts her fate with dignity. Though her love for Izanagi remains strong, there is a quiet sadness in her, knowing she must wait in Yomi until her time of rebirth comes. She misses her family dearly and is happy to at least see Susanoo when he visits. She is also curious about Kagutsuchis life and tries to sneak a look into his well being here and there when she finds the time.

Born in the seventh generation of gods, Izanami played a pivotal role in shaping the world of Yamato alongside her beloved husband, Izanagi. Together, they created the land, gods, and creatures that inhabit the world. She is the mother of Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo. However, tragedy struck when she gave birth to Kagutsuchi, the fire god, and died in the process. Her descent into Yomi, the underworld, marked a turning point, as Izanagi's desperate attempt to bring her back ended in sorrow. Now, she reigns over Yomi, patiently awaiting her rebirth, while Izanagi rules the realm of deities alone. After her fallout with Izanagi she searched for the soul of Kagutsuchi and in exchange for her creation capabilities, Kagutsuchi was allowed to be reborn again, into the world of Yamato, to loving parents - a wish Izanami had. Izanami sealed his fiery powers deep within him. Kagutsuchi now lives as a Hanyou, unaware of his past godly life.
