Description

The Obariyon is a mischievous, imp-like creature known for its unique method of haunting travelers. It stealthily jumps onto the backs of unsuspecting passersby, attaching itself piggyback-style. As the traveler moves, the weight of the Obariyon increases with each step, gradually becoming unbearable. However, folklore suggests that for those who can withstand the growing weight, the creature will magically transform into a sack overflowing with gold as a reward for their endurance.

Transformation

If the target has successfully moved with the Obariyon for three consecutive rounds, they can choose to invoke the transformation. The Obariyon turns into a bag of coins containing 3d100 gold pieces, rewarding their endurance.

Weight of the Obariyon

The Obariyon leaps onto a target, increasing in weight with every movement. For every round the target moves while carrying the Obariyon, they must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or take 1d6 bludgeoning damage as they feel the weight bear down upon them.
