Description

At the heart of Aisetsu village, the Frozen Spirit Altar serves as a sacred ground where Yurei, or spirits of the deceased, commune with their ancestors. The altar is a vibrant hub for the community, hosting weddings, bestowing blessings upon newborns, and celebrating local festivities centered around the reverence for spirits and the fire that brings warmth and life.

Appearance

A grand icy altar surrounded by intricate carvings of spirits and ancestral symbols, illuminated by flickering flames of lanterns, with ethereal wisps floating above, set against a backdrop of snow-covered trees under a twilight sky.
