Description

The Broken Sentinel is a mechanical beast-like sentry designed for protection, now in a state of disrepair. Despite its half-broken limbs, it is still a formidable guardian that moves with uncanny precision, driven by an ancient magic that keeps it functional. Its eyes glow with a faint blue light, mirroring the pulsing energy within its metallic body. The Sentinel is often found in abandoned ruins or ancient fortifications, ever-watchful for intruders.

Crushing Strike

Grapple

The Broken Sentinel can attempt to grapple a creature within 5 feet of it. A target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be grappled (escape DC 16).

Terrifying roar

Once per day, the Broken Sentinel can emit a terrifying roar. Each creature of its choice within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
