Kingdom of Confusion

Deep in the shattered lands of Firewing Valley, the Sanctuary of the Blazing Shadow is a refuge for fanatics who worship destruction and fire. This ancient sanctuary, carved into the depths of a massive black rock, is home to those who have rejected the company of the dragonborn: renegade mages, priests of the forgotten flame, murderers, and traitors. They believe that through immersion in chaos, true power can be achieved. Fiery runes cover the columns and arches of the abode. At the center of the abode is the Altar of the Devouring Shadow, a black obsidian altar where the cult performs bloody sacrifices. In a distant cave, an ancient ritual well is hidden - a pit leading to bottomless fiery depths where those too weak to serve are thrown. A network of narrow passages leads to hidden caves, and in the ritual transformation chambers, cultists undergo cruel trials, allowing magic to change their bodies, even turning into half-demonic creatures.

The sanctuary is a dark, foreboding structure with glowing fiery runes illuminating the black stone walls. The air is thick with the smell of sulfur and the heat of nearby magma, creating an oppressive atmosphere.
