Description
The Sacred Path is a treacherous, winding trail carved into the volcanic cliffs leading to the Heartforge Volcano and the Molten Keep, the seat of Ignis’s power. The path is flanked by rivers of molten lava and jagged obsidian spires that glisten with reflected firelight. Geysers of flame erupt unpredictably, casting the area in a constantly shifting glow. The air is thick with heat and ash, making breathing difficult without magical aid or strong endurance. Ancient runes are etched into the blackened stone, glowing faintly, their meaning known only to the Flamekin and Ignis himself.
