DSA Nameless Nights

The Innenhof is a vibrant, verdant courtyard enclosed by an elegant colonnaded walkway. Above, colorful lanterns cast their gentle glow over the scenery, bathing benches, lush flowers, and graceful elf statues in shifting hues. These statues spill water from their cornucopias into two shallow ornamental pools, where koi swim among blooming water lilies and aquatic plants. Two Glücksbrunnen, or "wishing fountains," glisten with scattered coins, their waters fed by sculpted two-headed lizards eerily similar to the monstrous creature depicted in the Frigidarium mosaic. One fountain hides a mechanism: throwing exactly 13 pearls as seen in the mosaic opens a secret passage to U7, revealed as water drains to unveil a spiral staircase.
