The room is designed for relaxation and indulgence, with lounging benches where attendants can oil and massage guests. The highlight of the room is the Rahjaborn, a large alabaster tub filled with mare’s milk. This is where well-built masseurs (mostly male) await to rub the ‘rejuvenation elixir’ into the skin of mostly female guests, offering a luxurious, rejuvenating experience. The walls are decorated with heraldic symbols and an ornate two-handed sword. Above the entrance, the inscription “Refugium senectorum” is engraved, meaning "Refuge for the Elderly". The room’s walls are clad in black polished basalt, giving it a dark, almost ominous feel. A Geology Test would reveal that the basalt is Koschbasalt, a type of stone that dampens magical energy. Spells cast in or through the walls of this room require 12 additional points of difficulty (ZfP). Earth-bound magic users and witches cannot access the Earth, and astral regeneration is also prevented.
