Description
The Decaying Ekzykes is a grotesque manifestation of decay and hatred, a dragon plagued by the vile Scarlet Rot. Once a majestic creature that soared the skies, Ekzykes has been transformed into a ravenous foe, its body marred by rotting flesh and oozing wounds. It breathes toxic clouds that spread the deadly rot, despoiling everything in its vicinity, and it produces harmful spores with every thunderous stomp. Despite its disfigurement, this dragon retains a towering presence and a fierce disposition, seeking revenge against the descendants of its ancient kin who failed to protect their legacy.

Breath of Scarlet Rot
Ekzykes expels a massive cloud of toxic gas in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) poison damage and becoming infected by scarlet rot for 1 minute on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The area becomes heavily obscured until the end of Ekzykes' next turn.
Rotting Stomp
As a bonus action, Ekzykes stomps the ground, creating a 20-foot radius of toxic spores in a designated area. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one, and suffers the scarlet rot condition until the end of their next turn.
Wing Attack
Ekzykes beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of it must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. Ekzykes can then fly up to half its flying speed.
