Now, it is home to liberated souls who have carved out a new life within its depths, creating small communities in the labyrinthine tunnels. What was once a symbol of suffering now stands as a testament to resilience, with vibrant murals of hope painted on the jagged walls reminding all who enter of their painful history and newfound freedom.
