Description
Herne Island lies off the western coast of Hammerfell, directly north of Cespar Island, surrounded by the turbulent waters of the Abecean Sea. Historically significant as the temporary refuge of the Na-Totambu—the ruling Yokudan nobility—during the Ra Gada exodus to Tamriel in the early First Era, Herne holds a sacred place in Redguard lore. Legends whisper of ancient Nedic tribes who once inhabited the island, resisting elven incursions until their ultimate defeat by the Ra Gada. The island’s rugged beauty and storied past make it a point of interest for historians, adventurers, and those drawn to the echoes of the past.
