Description

Shor’s Stone is a humble mining village located in the Rift, north of Riften, along the road leading to Windhelm. Named in honor of Shor, the Nordic god of the afterlife, the village holds deep cultural significance for the Nords who live there. The village thrives primarily due to the Redbelly Mine, a rich source of ebony ore that supports the local economy and provides valuable materials for blacksmiths across Skyrim. Life in Shor’s Stone is simple and harsh, with villagers enduring the cold climate and dangerous wildlife that roam the surrounding forests. Despite its modest size, Shor’s Stone has become well-known for the resilience of its people, their unwavering devotion to Shor, and their skill in mining and smithing.
