Runil is solemn and introspective, often lost in thought about his past. He carries a heavy burden of guilt and seeks to make amends through his service to the dead. He speaks softly and with a sense of gravity, reflecting his deep remorse and desire for redemption.
backstory
Once a Thalmor battlemage during the Great War, Runil now seeks redemption by tending to the dead and honoring the fallen in Falkreath. He offers basic Conjuration training and tasks the Dragonborn with retrieving his lost journal, which contains reflections on his past and dreams of dragons. Despite his efforts to atone, he remains haunted by his wartime actions and fears judgment from the townsfolk he now serves.
