He has tubes running to a tank on his back that administers Venom through injection pumps linked to his arms, enhancing his strength and body mass.

Intelligent, calculating, and driven by determination. Bane is a master strategist who uses both mind and brawn to achieve his goals, viewing Batman as his ultimate rival.
backstory
Born in Peña Duro prison, Bane was sentenced to serve his father's life sentence from birth. Surviving the brutal environment taught him to be ruthless and self-reliant. Subjected to experimental testing with the Venom drug, he gained superhuman strength but became dependent on it. After escaping, he aimed to conquer Gotham City, famously orchestrating the downfall of Batman during the Knightfall storyline.
