These wyrms possess glossy, scaled bodies adorned with colorful patterns reminiscent of the mushrooms from which they originate. Their slender, serpentine forms are about three feet long with delicate wings that are often folded against their bodies, resembling the caps of a mushroom. Their eyes glow softly in the dark, and their long, whip-like tails are tipped with luminescent spores.
Ambush Attack
The Mushroom Wyrm can make a surprise attack against a creature that is unsuspecting in its mushroom habitat. If successful, the attack deals an additional 2d6 damage.
Spore Breath
The Mushroom Wyrm exhales a cloud of magical spores in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
