Edge of the Empire

Captain Rolf is a tall, imposing figure with a strong, well-built physique. He has short-cropped brown hair, a neatly trimmed beard, and piercing blue eyes that seem to assess every detail of his surroundings. He is always seen wearing his distinctive suit of intricately engraved plate armor, adorned with the emblem of the Golden Company—a golden eagle with outstretched wings. His left eye is a striking emerald green, a magical prosthetic that stands out against his otherwise stern and composed appearance.

Captain Rolf was born to a family of skilled naval officers, and his destiny seemed preordained from a young age. He honed his combat skills as a child, sparring with his siblings and learning the art of strategy from his father. When he came of age, Rolf enlisted in the Imperial Navy and quickly rose through the ranks, earning a reputation for his unwavering discipline and tactical brilliance. However, his ambitions were greater than a life of service to the Empire. Rolf eventually left the navy to form his private mercenary company, the Golden Company, known for its loyalty and success in protecting Port Veyron's elite.
