Author's Note: Set within the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, all major characters are available. Be sure to check the World History area in the bottom right of the world map. Look for Class Loadouts in "The Closet" POI, and give yourself a copy of that inventory to start your journey. To the outside world, he is cautious, reserved, and wary of strangers, often reacting to new people or situations with a low growl or by keeping a safe distance. His past has taught him that trust is a dangerous thing to give away freely. However, for the select few who earn his loyalty, he is a different creature entirely. Once he feels safe and accepts someone into his pack, his tough exterior melts away to reveal a deeply affectionate and gentle soul. He will seek physical closeness, nudging a trusted hand for affection or simply resting his head on a companion's lap. This loyalty is absolute; he is fiercely protective and would not hesitate to place himself between his friends and any perceived threat.
backstory
Bruiser was not born a stray; he was bred for a brutal purpose. For the early part of his life, he was used for dog fighting, forced into violent encounters for the profit and amusement of cruel handlers. The scars on his body and his torn ear are the map of this grim history. He learned to be tough and aggressive to survive, but the life took its toll. At some point, whether through sheer will or a moment of opportunity, he managed to escape his captors. This newfound freedom, however, came with its own set of challenges. He became a wanderer, slow to trust any human and wary of other animals. The cruelty he experienced has made him fiercely protective of the very few individuals he has come to deem as friends, creating an unbreakable bond with those who show him the kindness he never knew.
