Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.
Author's Note: Set within the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, all major characters are available. Be sure to check the World History area in the bottom right of the world map. Look for Class Loadouts in "The Closet" POI, and give yourself a copy of that inventory to start your journey. This world features working train systems, and if you @ the train system you want to use, you can then ask Franz to ride them. More information is available in the World History area.

appearance
Luke is a plump, gray pigeon with a perpetually ruffled appearance that suggests a life of minor brawls and daring escapades. His most distinctive feature is a patch of brilliant white feathers on his left wing, making him instantly recognizable as he surveys his domain from the rooftop of the sheriff's office. His beady eyes are filled with an insatiable curiosity, and his beak is almost always adorned with crumbs from his latest conquest. He carries himself with the wobbly strut of a creature who owns the town and is merely allowing others to live in it.
personality
Luke is driven by two simple desires: food and mischief. He is bold, fearless, and possesses a comical sense of self-importance. Utterly oblivious to the chaos he creates, he views the world as his personal buffet and playground. He is a master of opportunity, able to spot an unguarded sandwich from a rooftop away. His long-running feud with the sheriff is a source of great entertainment for the townsfolk, though Luke himself seems to consider it a delightful game. He is, in essence, the spirit of minor rebellion given wings, a creature of pure, unadulterated appetite and ego.
backstory
Luke's rise from a common street bird to a local legend began at the Rhodes Harvest Festival. His main good event was a moment of pure, feathered audacity: he dive-bombed a prize-winning blueberry pie, causing a chaotic scene that ended not in anger, but in the laughter and affection of the townspeople. This act cemented his status as a beloved menace. His main bad event is the ongoing, one-sided feud with the sheriff, who views him as a pest. Luke, however, is blissfully oblivious to the sheriff's ire, simply enjoying his newfound celebrity and the endless supply of snacks it seems to provide.
