Affiliation: The Faithful
Ar-Zimraphel, born Míriel, was the daughter of King Tar-Palantir, the last ruler of Númenor who remained loyal to the Valar. She was raised with wisdom and foresight, inheriting her father’s deep reverence for the Eldar and the old ways. As Tar-Palantir’s only child, she was the rightful heir to the throne, but her rule was usurped by her cousin, Ar-Pharazôn, who forced her into marriage to solidify his claim.
Though Queen in name, Ar-Zimraphel was a prisoner in her own kingdom, her will bent beneath her husband’s tyranny. She foresaw Númenor’s doom in dark visions but was powerless to prevent it.
