Amandil is wise, compassionate, and deeply committed to his beliefs. He is a natural leader who values friendship and loyalty, and he carries the weight of his people's fate on his shoulders.

Affiliation: The Faithful Amandil was the last Lord of Andúnië and a leader of the Faithful in Númenor. A descendant of Elros and a close advisor to Ar-Pharazôn in his early reign, Amandil opposed the growing corruption of the king’s court, particularly Sauron’s influence. As Ar-Pharazôn turned against the Valar, persecuting the Faithful and instituting the worship of Melkor, Amandil and his house became targets of suspicion. He retreated to Rómenna with his family, including his son Elendil and grandsons Isildur and Anárion, secretly preparing for their escape. Foreseeing Númenor’s doom, Amandil resolved to make a desperate appeal to the Valar, much like Eärendil had done in ages past. Languages: Adûnaic, Quenya
