Drowning Embrace
The fog envelops a creature within its area, effectively grappling it (escape DC 17). While grappled, the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw at the start of each of its turns or take 22 (4d10) psychic damage as the fog claws at its mind.
Scourge of the Deep
The Living Ocean Death Fog can summon spectral tendrils of its essence that lash out at up to three creatures within 60 feet, making a melee spell attack for +10 to hit. On a hit, a target takes 18 (4d8) necrotic damage and must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or have its maximum hit points reduced by the amount taken until it finishes a long rest.
Waves of Despair
The Living Ocean Death Fog generates oppressive waves of despair in a 30-foot radius. Creatures in this area must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
