Thrall is a towering and imposing orc, his massive frame rippling with muscle, a testament to his strength and warrior heritage. His skin is a deep, rich green, marked by scars earned in countless battles. His piercing blue eyes, an uncommon trait among orcs, shine with wisdom and an unbreakable resolve. His strong, square jaw is framed by prominent tusks, and his long black hair is woven into thick braids. His presence alone commands respect, embodying both the raw power of an orc warrior and the spiritual serenity of a shaman. He wears the legendary Doomplate armor, a set of heavy, ornate plates infused with shamanic energy. The chest piece is adorned with intricate engravings of elemental symbols, glowing faintly with mystical energy. His pauldrons are massive, spiked, and crackling with latent power. His gauntlets and greaves are reinforced with dark iron, each piece etched with runes. Over his back, a heavy wolf pelt is draped, symbolizing his connection to the Frostwolves.

Thrall, also known as Go'el, is a wise and compassionate leader, shaped by hardship and driven by honor. Raised as a slave by humans, he later embraced his orcish heritage and rose to become Warchief of the Horde. Unlike many of his predecessors, Thrall values diplomacy, balance, and unity. He believes in peace where possible, but does not hesitate to act with strength when necessary. A shaman deeply connected to the elements, Thrall respects nature and tradition. His leadership is marked by humility, a strong moral compass, and an enduring hope for a better future for all races of Azeroth.

Thrall is the son of Durotan, former chieftain of the Frostwolf clan, and Draka. As a baby, he was found amongst the bloody bodies of his murdered parents by Aedelas Blackmoore, commander of the internment camps which held orcs after the end of the Second War. Blackmoore gave him the name Thrall, which was another word for "slave" in the human tongue. Blackmoore returned with Thrall to his fortress, Durnholde Keep, raising him as a gladiator with all the savagery of an orc, but with the keen strategic intellect of a human. He was trained and taught by many, wet-nursed by a human woman, and grew to befriend her daughter, Taretha Foxton. Thrall proved to be an excellent student and a phenomenal fighter.
