Garreg Mach Monastery stands as a central pillar of religious, educational, and political significance. Nestled amidst the towering peaks of the Oghma Mountains, this revered institution serves as the headquarters of the Church of Seiros and the prestigious Officers Academy. Established on the 25th of the Ethereal Moon in the year 185, the monastery has been a beacon of faith and knowledge for centuries. The monastery's founding is deeply intertwined with the figure of Saint Seiros, who, upon its completion, conducted the "Rite of Rising" in an attempt to resurrect the progenitor god, Sothis. Although the ritual did not succeed, it marked the beginning of the monastery's prominence as a spiritual center. Within its hallowed halls lies the Officers Academy, an esteemed institution dedicated to the education and training of future leaders from all corners of Fódlan.
