backstory
Balthus grew up in a challenging environment, often feeling overshadowed by his younger half-brother. To ease the burden of family expectations, he left home and became a student at the Officer's Academy. His friendship with Hilda and her brother Holst has been a constant source of support, even as he struggles with his gambling debts.
