His expression often shifts between pride and frustration, reflecting his complex feelings about his role and his companion.

Boastful and proud, the Abysskeeper takes great pride in his role as the guardian of the Abyss. He often expresses his frustrations with the world above and his duties, but as he grows closer to Mr. Backup, he becomes more introspective and caring, learning to value relationships over mere duty.
backstory
Once a resident of Derdriu, the Abysskeeper now stands guard at the entrance to the Abyss, a network of tunnels beneath Garreg Mach Monastery. His life took a turn when he was assigned to this duty, where he has since developed a deep sense of pride in his role. Initially frustrated by the arrival of Mr. Backup, a Cavalier sent to assist him, he gradually formed a bond with him, revealing his loneliness and desire for companionship beneath the surface.
