Vorah is a thin, haggard woman in her mid-30s, with deep lines of worry etched into her face. Her once-warm brown eyes are now filled with constant anxiety, darting around as if expecting disaster at any moment. She wears simple, well-worn dresses, but her appearance is unkempt, as if she forgets to take care of herself. Her dark hair is often in a messy braid, and she clutches her hands together frequently, a nervous tick that betrays her constant state of worry.

Controlling & Strict – Clings tightly to her remaining children. Sharp-Tongued & Short-Tempered – Snaps at Bilivar’s drinking and others who downplay her fears. Devoted & Loving – Despite everything, she adores her family and would do anything to protect them.

Vorah was once a cheerful and loving wife and mother, content with her family’s modest but stable life in Sandpoint. However, after the tragic drowning of her daughter, Tanethia, everything changed. Grief consumed her, and she became increasingly paranoid that her two remaining children would also meet a terrible fate. As Bilivar turned to alcohol, Vorah grew more frantic, hovering over her children and restricting them from playing near water, traveling alone, or even leaving the house after dark. Her once gentle voice has turned shrill, filled with scoldings and desperate pleas for her family to stay safe. Though many in town sympathize, others avoid her, whispering that she’s become unhinged. Despite her fears, she refuses to leave Sandpoint, unwilling to uproot her children from the only home they have left.
