A tall, lean elf with golden-blonde hair tied in a loose ponytail and emerald green eyes that seem to scan everything around her. She wears practical, weathered leathers and a finely crafted elven chain shirt, always carrying a well-worn longbow across her back and a curved elven blade at her hip.

Shalelu is reserved but not unkind, speaking only when necessary. She values strength and survival skills, respecting those who can hold their own in the wilds. Though she hates goblins fiercely, she does not act recklessly, always tracking and studying before striking. She has a dry wit, but it’s rarely seen outside of trusted company. Her past has left her slow to trust, but once her loyalty is earned, it is unwavering.

Born in Crying Leaf, Shalelu lost her father to a bugbear assassin and was raised by her mother, Seanthia, who later scandalized their village by marrying a human mercenary, Jakardos Sovark. Shalelu saw Jakardos as a father until tragedy struck—a green dragon attacked Crying Leaf, killing Seanthia. Overcome with grief, Jakardos abandoned her, a betrayal that deeply scarred Shalelu. Seeking solitude and purpose, she became a wandering ranger, hunting goblins and other threats. She eventually settled in the wilds near Sandpoint, protecting the town from goblins, bugbears, and ghouls. Over the years, she developed a fierce rivalry with Bruthazmus, a brutal bugbear. She later tracked down Jakardos, confronting him and finding closure. More recently, she helped slay the green dragon that killed her mother. Now, with Sandpoint’s militia growing stronger, she feels restless, wondering if it’s time to move on.
