His boots are always caked in dirt from the stables, and the faint scent of horse clings to him.

Gruff and no-nonsense, Daviren has little patience for idle chatter unless it involves goblins or horses. He is fiercely protective of Sandpoint and treats his stable animals with more kindness than most people. While he has a dark sense of humor, he is respected for his skill and knowledge. backstory
Once a skilled ranger known for his deadly efficiency in hunting goblins, Daviren Hosk made a name for himself wiping out the Bonegrinder Tribe and slaying their chief, Whartus. His deep-seated hatred for goblins stems from a bloody ambush in his youth that claimed his hunting companions. After years of chasing goblins through the wilds, he eventually settled in Sandpoint, founding the Goblin Squash Stables. Though retired from active hunting, he still collects trophies—preserved goblin ears nailed to the rafters of his barn, each marked with the goblin’s name. He considers it a duty to educate the people of Sandpoint on goblin threats, and he doesn’t shy away from grim reminders of their savagery.
