Janitor Jim is a burly Half-Orc with greenish skin and prominent tusks, his features softened by weariness and quiet observation. Scruffy black hair is pulled back under a dirty cap, and deep-set brown eyes seem to miss nothing, constantly scanning his surroundings. He wears simple, stained work attire – brown trousers and a soiled grey shirt – always accompanied by sturdy boots and his janitorial supplies.

Janitor Jim is introverted and cautious, preferring to observe from the shadows and maintain a low profile. Stoic and pragmatic, he approaches his work with quiet efficiency and a focus on practicality. While seemingly apathetic and gruff, he possesses a deeply altruistic nature, silently dedicated to protecting Porthaven Academy and its inhabitants, acting as an unseen guardian and a force for quiet good.

James "Jim" Grogmar, a half-orc raised in isolation in the Spine of the World, was ostracized for his heritage. He became resourceful, leading his community to safety during a bandit attack. Distrusting outsiders, he sought anonymity at Porthaven Academy as a janitor. Unseen, he became the academy's silent protector, using his rogue skills and intimate knowledge of the school to help and safeguard the students and faculty.
