Once a promising knight of the realm, Veylen's life took a dark turn when he witnessed the devastation caused by rogue mages wielding unsanctioned Aether-tech. Sworn to eradicate this threat, he rose through the ranks to become the head of the Sky Inquisition, a relentless force dedicated to hunting down those who misuse magic. His cold demeanor and unwavering resolve have made him both feared and respected among his peers, but his obsession with justice has also led him to make many enemies, including the infamous Archmage Alric Thornweave, whom he believes embodies the very chaos he seeks to eliminate.
