Description
Port Suffering is the largest permanent settlement on Iocanthos, serving as a base for Imperial operations. Its fortified structure features a vital spaceport for supply deliveries and Ghostfire shipments, alongside extensive freshwater tanks that are crucial for trade and survival. The town's architecture consists of rust-red prefabricated buildings, with a community focused on maintaining the spaceport and ensuring self-sufficiency. The population is law-abiding and Emperor-fearing, attending the local chapel and relying on the Administratum counting-house for governance. The town's defenses are bolstered by the Port Militia, and its neutrality is a key factor in its survival amidst the rival warlords of Iocanthos.
