Under the leadership of Canoness Goneril and her Mistress of Novices, Sister Gert, novices endure a strict regimen of fasting, prayer, and theological study, while the elite Sisters of Battle from the Order of the Ebon Chalice, led by Palatine Rhiannon, provide martial support and maintain the honor guard at the Cathedral of Illumination.
