Charming, sly, and evasive—but never without reason. Approaches every situation like it’s a con or a heist. Confides in very few, but fiercely protects his allies. Thinks five moves ahead, especially when bluffing or baiting. Superstitious from years at sea—never disrespects omens or the sea gods.
backstory
Zech spent most of his adult life on ships—freighters, smugglers, and maybe a pirate crew or two. Whether he was truly a pirate is left vague, but the way he navigates shadows and social lies suggests something illegal shaped him. Eventually, a few bad bets and a high-stakes card game gone wrong landed him in the pocket of The Company. He now finds himself partnered with Big Bertha, pressed into reviving Trollskull Manor under the threat of permanent debt collection. He’s in it to survive—but maybe part of him wants to build something, too.
