A sturdy man with wide shoulders, rough hands, and a weathered, square-jawed face. His hair is salt-and-pepper, and he wears stitched black leathers—even at court. His belt always bears the family crest in brushed silver.

Nuthos is a practical, no-nonsense leader whose values center around reliability, loyalty, and quiet strength. He is slow to anger and slower to forgive. He holds firm to old customs and expectations, and views frivolity or posturing as weaknesses unfit for nobility. He believes nobility is earned through work—not wealth or words.

Nuthos took over the family’s operations in the early 1350s, growing their Amphail holdings into the region’s finest source of harnesses, bridles, and animal-focused leather goods. His unique contribution was adding an animal recovery stable with ties to local druidic and divine healers, creating one of the few places in the North where wounded mounts could be treated with reverence. Under his leadership, House Eagleshield gained greater standing in Waterdeep’s noble assemblies, even if they remained outsiders to the more ostentatious circles.
