Born into the esteemed Eltorchul family, Oth was groomed from a young age to inherit the mantle of leadership within the family's arcane academy. His early years were marked by a keen intellect and a deep fascination with the boundaries of magical theory. In 1368 DR, Oth embarked on an ambitious project to create 'dream spheres,' magical constructs intended to revolutionize the way dreams and memories could be stored and experienced. Utilizing the Mhaorkiira Hadryad, a potent and enigmatic artifact, Oth's experiment tragically backfired. The resulting magical backlash left him mentally incapacitated, reducing the once-promising heir to a state of incoherence and detachment from reality.
